Provista strives to ensure that cost is not a barrier for any patient who may benefit from Videssa® Breast. Through our Compassion Program, we handle the entire billing process, from claim submission to filing appeals, working collectively with patients, providers and insurance carriers to minimize out-of-pocket costs whenever possible. Our dedicated reimbursement team can help patients better understand our billing process, their insurance coverage, as well as, eligibility requirements for patient financial assistance or other payment programs.

For patients with health insurance, including Medicare, Provista will file a claim on your behalf. Our goal is to ensure that you receive the best possible coverage from your plan.

 

We’ll File the Appeal

Provista will file appeals and re-submit claims on your behalf for any denied or partially paid claim. We also offer assistance to patients who are required to file appeals on their own.

 

Patient Financial Assistance

Provista strives to make Videssa Breast accessible and affordable to all patients who may benefit from testing. We offer financial assistance to qualified patients who meet specific financial criteria based on household size and income. Eligibility is determined based on the criteria established by the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Federal Poverty Guidelines.

Will my insurance cover this test?

Provista will assist you in obtaining the best possible insurance payment coverage for Videssa Breast. For patients with health insurance, including Medicare, Provista will file an insurance claim on your behalf. The amount for which you are responsible will vary depending on your health plan and your ability to pay. Provista will bill you for any unpaid balance including deductibles, copayments, co-insurance or for non-covered services.

What if I do not have insurance?

Provista is committed to ensuring that cost is not a barrier for any patient who may benefit from Videssa Breast. Patients who are uninsured or underinsured are encouraged to call Provista for details on financial and payment assistance programs.

Am I eligible for Patient Financial Assistance?

Patients should follow Provista’s procedures to obtain financial assistance and are expected to contribute to the cost of Videssa Breast, including co-insurance, co-payments, deductibles or other amounts owed, based on their ability to pay.
